dsh-helper-plugin-notify-away

Step away. When the task finishes, it calls you back.

Long turns are easy to miss: you switch to chat or docs, and only later notice the run already ended. While you are watching, the sidebar done dot is enough. dsh-helper-plugin-notify-away is a dsh plugin for the other case — you are not looking — with a system banner. Click it to focus the Web UI and open that session. Same idea as Cursor’s agent toast.

When it calls you

Allow the browser notification prompt once. On macOS, also allow the browser under System Settings → Notifications.

Install into dsh

dsh plugin --profile web add github:x102201/dsh-helper-plugin-notify-away
  1. Run the command on the dsh profile you use.
  2. Restart dsh web.
  3. Start a task, switch away, wait for the banner.

This is a dsh plugin (per profile) — not a dsh-helper feature. If you run several dsh instances on one desktop, see dsh-helper. Deep notes live in the repo.
